Prof. Dr. Md. Abdur Rahman, MBBS, MPH (RCH), MPH (Admin.), PhD 

Prof. Rahman is a Public Health specialist with 42 years of working experience in the Government, Non-Government organizations and International Development partners like WHO, UNFPA, UNESCO, and Save the Children USA. For more than 30 years taught in several Graduate and Postgraduate institutions and finally retired as Director of NIPSOM and then joined the Jehangirnagar University as the founder Chairman in the Department of Public Health and Informatics. To his credit he has about 50 publications in national and international Journals. For his contributions in the field of Public Health education he has received many national and international awards with the latest one in 2019 as the “Best Professor in Public Health Studies” from World Education Congress.
