Prof. Syed Abdul Hamid 

Dr. Syed Abdul Hamid is a Professor at the Institute of Health Economics. He served the institute as the Director during 2016-2019. He obtained his PhD in Economics from the University of Sheffield (UK) and M.Sc. in Health Economics from the University of York (UK). Previously, he obtained his BSS (Hons.) and MSS in Economics from the University of Dhaka. Dr. Hamid has 23 years-experience of teaching and research in Health Economics and published widely in the peer reviewed international journals.
